Ministerial Staff
Pulpit Minister
Paul Phelps
Paul and Dana came to Farragut in 2002 when Paul accepted the position as the Minister of Outreach and Involvement. Paul presently serves the Farragut church as the Senior Pulpit Minister. He is multi-talented. His strengths lie In relationships and in providing a strong spiritual foundation. Paul and Dana grew up near Bowling Green, Kentucky. Paul has a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from West Kentucky University where he graduated cum laude in 1994. Paul and Dana married in December of the same year. They both graduated with honors from the Sunset International Bible Institute in the summer of 1997. He took his first ministerial job as Associate Minister at the Lone Oak Church of Christ in Paducah, Kentucky. Dana is actively involved with the children’s ministry. Paul and Dana have three beautiful daughters, Abbie, Colby and Bailey.
Youth Minister
Jason Terry
Jason grew up in Paducah, Kentucky and went to college at Harding University. He graduated in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and vocational ministry with a minor in communications. Jason has been working in youth ministry in some way since the fall of 1999 and worked as a part time youth minister during most of his college career. Jason is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys many different sports, especially baseball.
Jason and Jamie have been married for 3 years and they have a cat named Aslan. Jamie grew up in Morristown and graduated from Lipscomb University in 2004 with an Elementary Education degree. Jamie is teaching kindergarten in Knox County . She loves to scrapbook, and cook. Jamie also likes to travel, crochet, run, spend time outside and cheer on the VOLS.
Jason believes that building strong relationships is a key to ministry and that teens need to be challenged to question why they believe what they believe so that they can develop a faith that is truly their own.
